Transporting Heavy Radiators from Church to Factory

A historic church in downtown Montreal required the repair and cleaning of its large, cast-iron radiators. The church committee decided to transport the radiators to a specialized metal repair and cleaning factory in Ville Saint-Laurent for the necessary work.

Argo Transport Commercial Moving Montreal was tasked  with ensuring the safe and prompt transport of the radiators from the church to the factory and back after the repairs. 

The Transport Process

From careful disassembly to secure transport all the way to reassembly : Argo Transport took care of everything.

  • Disassembly: The radiators were carefully disassembled into manageable sections to facilitate transport.
  • Equipment: Special lifting harnesses and equipment were sourced to handle the heavy radiators safely. Using the lifting harnesses, the sections were safely lifted, loaded and unloaded.
  • Reinstallation: The radiators were reinstalled in the church, with adjustments made to accommodate any changes in the building structure.

The project was successfully completed with the radiators returned to the church in excellent condition. The careful planning and execution ensured the safe transport and repair of the heavy radiators.
